Default Can anyone recommend an Agent?

Hello guys,

Can anyone please recommend an immigratin agent. Preferably one who has an office in the uk and in austrlia (perhaps even in Adelaide?!).

What do you think? Is it helpful to have your agent locally? I know some people never meet them actually and only communicate via email and phone. Good or bad experiences anyone?

Thanks!

Hi

We've used Thinking Australia and can't recommend them highly enough. Our contact is Darrell Todd, he runs the business in the UK and utilises the best agents in Australia, so you get the best of both worlds. Plus he can help with other aspects of the move, not just getting your visa.

The number is 0845 850 40 40

Don't forget that an Australia based agent is going to be much closer to the skill assessing authority and DIMIA Adelaide.

We've used www.southerncrossalliance.com and have found them excellent. If I ask a question via email I am pretty much guaranteed an answer the following morning. The contact name I have is Tien Bonney. Her boss (and husband) used to work for DIMIA and so the experience the company has is excellent. They are based in Sydney but I certainly wouldn't let that put you off. I would certainly prefer to have it that way around if anything - like Jeremy says they're closer to everything and can probably resolve things a lot quicker.

Hi there

We used Australian Immigration Law Services (http://www.ausimmi.com),
agent's name is Byron Pugh. She was fantastic, and answered every
little email or question immediately. Really great, personal service
-- and we just got our Visas two days ago, which is what counts!

Good luck
K

It doesnt matter where they are, as long as they are good.

Dont bother with oe visas as i did, use go matilda or george lombard as many many many people recommend these.

good luck, and if your case is straight forward, and can read and read and read, then use this site and ask questions and save yourself a few quid (£3000 in my case) and you can spend that on getting to oz with the pets too!

Unfortunately our case isn't that straightforward. I got my BN 136 visa last week granted (huraaaahhh!) but now we have to apply for my partner's spouse visa. Since I had to wait something about 14 months, we met only after I submitted my application. Anyway, I'm afraid we might have to answer lots of questions why he wasn't included in my application, that's why we need advice from an agent.

Thanks a lot for your recommendations! I have contacted go matilda now and hope to get an answer soon.

One visa granted, next in process...
