Hello all fellow southerns!!

What's happening with the meet, its' all gone quiet here and so wondered if the posible get together was still an option.

were definitely still interested, wouldnt be able to do 15th as im on nights, but could do the following fri or sunday (nights on the sat), please let us know.

Hi Trish

Any time is fairly good for us, lets see how many other can play with dates.
I.ve just booked our meds of rthe 26/01 (unrequested) so now I am suffering from nerves, which will prob get worse after I have spoken to some estate agents tomorrow!! Eeekkk

Boy need a bevy now! Have to be a neetle tea as on detox from crimbo god life is a drag sometimes.

WE LIVE 300 YARDS AWAY (from the bucket and spade pub) AND I`M ON EARLIES so let us know

my dads birthday weekend is 22/23 of jan so that weekend will be a tight squeeze, but i am sure we can sort something out

i think i can get a table sorted for us

What visa are going for? Are you a nurse?

i used to know a few nurses, but that was a long time ago, in my youth

i am a baker and we are trying on a 138 only just this week started the ball rolling

sure you will be fine, know what you mean, were all cutting down abit to be a bit healthier...jim in speedos isnt pretty! LOL
ive got my exam topics in 8 days which means my exam is only 9wks away! eek, once thats over and ive hopefully passed (april 8th) the visa can get into swing! being sponsored by hospital in townsville for rsms pr visa.

Me and my husband are still interested in meeting up - as long as he can get the night off work - the 15th or the weekend after is good for us.

Seems like we'd all like to meet up...but the lady who started this thread and idea hasnt put forward a view....

There was me thinking I was the only one down this way in the middle of this trauma (well nearly at the end now thank god)

I cant do next Saturday but can do ANY other time...or weekend...
Where in Torquay are u charlie...? Im down the road in Newton abbot...

great news, we have only just last friday sent off to go matilda our 1st initail assessment , so we were thinking how long did it take you to do the 138

For me mate ... I started this 2 years ago in Feb...but dont panic...theres been allot of changes to the system since July 1st 2004 and things move allot quicker now regarding the actual application... Im assumming you havent done the Tra yet then....That takes a few months...and that hasnt changed...just the application part as it were... I did leave a few months inbetween TRA pass and the application I must confess...I could have done it a bit quicker...I left a few months to go back for a second visit before shelling out the £800 fee...I recon it can now be done inside a year start to finish...application taking about 6 months of that...TRA and flim flamming about gathering info the other 6 months...this is a very rough estimation and every case is different mind...

thanks we haven`t done tra yet it will probably be done mid feb, you say 6 months for that and another 6 months for the application part

do you have a house to sell ? when are you doing that it seems people do it at the same time as the meds does this sound about right, i take it meds are done about 9 months from the tra ?
