Well everyone else is having a get together so why not us westerners eh?
Anyone up for a local meet some time in Jan?

we've got about 5 couples so far and i posted it yesterday!
prob bristol and i think we're looking at the 15th of JAn as a possibility

work permitting, me and my husband would love to meet up and have a good 'natter about Aus' and swap stories etc - We will be coming from Corsham.

Hi,
We're also from Devon (Exeter) so Bristol is definitely do-able for us.
I'll keep an eye on this post to see how things develop.
Getting cold feet at the moment so some encouragement would be a good thing. Already got visas sorted.

The suggestion of Worle sounds ok as it will be easier for those from Devon and easy for Bristol ,Glos,Wilts.
Are you going to post the location etc or pm ?

how does everyone feel about the 15th Jan in the Golden lion pub (has food as well so child friendly!)

surely the "bucket and spade" would be easier for everyone it is literally 1 minute from the motorway junction, come off the junction down the dual carriage way then left at the very first roundabout, you even see it as you come to the first round about (+ we could walk to it. LOL)
it has a fun house for the kids + an outdoor climbing frame for older ones, it does food its a beefeater type of place,
