Advice needed on how easy/hard is to get a BVB.

I have lodged an application for an 885 in early 2009 and not being on the CSL list face the 2 year waiting time...

I am thinking of going overseas in a few months time for about 8 weeks to do some work experience which would be very closely related to my current position in Australia. This has my employer's formal approval and praise however it would be organised independently by myself and would not be paid by my current employer in Australia.

How easy would it be to get a BVB?

They do get issued for various reasons and best thing is just to apply and worst that can happen is they'll they say No.

We are in the same situation and went to our local immigration office where they issued a bridging visa B without even asking the reason, so no worries there!
