Dear all, I have 2 questions:
1. I'd like to apply online for GSM 175 visa and to that end I need to provide my birth certificate. Is it sufficient just to scan the original (it's black and white with a blue stamp) or do I need to make it certified by public notary?
2. In order to gain 5 additional points for speaking Australian comunity's language, it's required to enclose the following documents: certified copies of my degree, academic transcript and a letter from my university stating the language in which my course was conducted. I've talked to a secretary at my university and she said it's the first time somebody asks for such a document and that they don't provide those kinds of documents. Therefore, is it sufficient to omit this document in my online application?
I would very appreciate your help.
My best regards!

It may be worth further enquiries at your university. My wife had to have similar documents, ie course transcripts, for her skills assessment. It wasnt a problem getting them from her university, just took a few days to track them down as it was from 15years earlier.
If they really dont provide those document you may be able to make a statutory declaration explaing the ommision of the documents and giving the answers to their questions.

Thank you for your answer.
And what do you think about my first question. I have same black and white docs with only signature in blue. May I just scan them without certifing?

For you first question make a color scan and it should be fine. I made color scan and it worked for me. I assume this document is you original birth certificate.
