birth certificate
has anyone had problems using a short birth certificate for their visa? ive never had a long one with parents names on it

I think the requirement is a full birth certificate, u can apply for this online or go to your nearest registrars.

You must supply full birth certificate with parent's names, unless it is not possible to get one, in which case you would have to do a statutory declaration stating why it is not possible. If you are British by birth, then you will have to supply the full one as they are available in UK.
