Exclamation Beware the medicals pitfall

I had a stunning morning today spent phoning around the various panel drs who we were willing to drive to and make a day off it or two!!! After an hour or so we had variants from £521 to £1055 for meds, CXR and bloods for a family of 4 you can guess which end of the market we are going for!! LOL

So for anyone new make sure you shop around the saving could be worth the cost of petrol and some!!!!!

Good Luck to you all

Charlie

Just a word of warning.. if you are having your medicals and xrays done by a doctor who you are not registered as a regular patient with, ask if they can take a photocopy of the medical report before posting it off. We sent our visa application off by registered post but it has been lost in the mail and we now have to start all over again. The doctor explained that if you are not a registered patient then he doesnt keep a copy, same goes for the doctor who did the xray, we now have the expense of a new medical and xray !
