Good choice if you go into all the banks of australia web sites you will find that HSBC definitely have the least charges and although they also have the least branches you can use the post offices and also on line banking we have just opened one waiting to transfer money over to charge the account.

You should find a bank which has branched both in your country
and in Australia. The bank account in Australia can be opened
through the local branch. It takes a while but possible.
