Hi everyone, I know it's hard to say but on average.. how long does the whole VISA application take.. I am waiting to hear back from my TRA application. Got the acknowledgement last week and it said that it should take 10 days to process as i am on the MODL list.
Fingers X'd it will be approved, but after this does it really take over a year????
I am living in Ireland and with the big down turn here I am worried that the application numbers will increase so much as so many people want to leave here........ do you think this is the situation everywhere??

Also, is there a best time to apply???? sorry about all the questions..........

hi

on the immi web site it states that expected processing time for an offshore visa 175/176 is 6 months

so i would imagine that is as long as everything is ok

It's a time list of applicants since April 07, Sept 07 applicants were pretty fast, but it has slowed down considerably since then.

As for best time to apply, sooner rather than later

Debbie, whereabouts on the website does it refer to 6 months? The only indication of timescales I can find is here:

This states that their aim is to process 75% of off-shore skilled visas within 12 months. I'd be interested to see more information about process times if you can point me in the right direction on the immi website.
