Autism and New Zealand
Hi,
I have been offered a job in New Zealand based in Auckland. We have two sons aged 14 and 12, the youngest of which is diagnosed with Autism. Initially we were concerned about what provision would be available to him and contacted Autism NZ to get some basic information. The feedback we have from them is that basically because his care medically, educationally and socially may cost then it is " highly unlikely " that he would be allowed in.
Has anyone out there got any similar stories or help so that the dream doesn't stop here.
Thankyou.

You should contact an experienced New Zealand immigration lawyer as you are unlikely to get the information you need on an online forum. Maybe try the New Zealand lifestyle forum?
You could try David Ryken in Auckland (suggestion rather than recommendation) - http://www.rykenlaw.co.nz
