If anyone could surrender any information it would be greatly
appreciated....

I have a working holiday visa, my wife has previously had one so there
for cannot obtain another but at present has an ETA, we intend to
arrive in Aus at the end of april......

Heres the thing..

We have no exit flights as we do not know our destination after Aus
yet, i understand we might need to show proof of funds upon entry,
will a statement do? if so is it a problem that the money may of just
credited the account 2-3 weeks before entry?

Has anyone got any experience about leaving Aus and applying for a new
ETA and then returning, is this the best way to extend your stay
there? If an ETA is reapplyed for soon after the other is it refered
to an embassy or consulate? Has anyone extended an ETA before and if
so does that affect applying for yet anothre ETA ater?

In order to aquire a 6 mth visitor visa or longer, what kind of funds
do you need to have and is it possible to apply at an embassy not in
your home country? we are currently in SE Asia.

Any information that anyone has will be of great help.
