Australia Work Experience
Hi,
I am on work visa (457) and have applied for PR in March 2008 and claiming 10 points for Australia work experience. But I have completed only 4 months on 457 visa when ACS evaluated my skills ! Before that, I worked in India for same company for 1 year 3 Mths. ACS has consider total of 1 Year 7 months under same company and certified me for the same. Here is my question - Am I elligible to claim 10 points for Australia work experience ? Do I need to get evaluate the whole one year experience by ACS to claim these 10 points?

DIAC case officer will assess whether you have enough Australian work experience when you apply. It does not specifically need to be covered by your ACS assessment but it does need to be "skilled".
