Default AU$ application fee to Washington - how does this work ?

DIMA says the Washington post will notify you of the US$ equivalent (after you've
applied) that needs to be paid. Is there any way of finding out the exact US$ amount
they require and sending it with the main application? Is it simply a question of
giving them a call beforehand?

Thanks

You can get on the Embassy website - www.austemb.org, and go to the visas/immigration
link. There is an FAQ area, this has the current fees in $US, and also a downloadable
credit card payment form.

Hope this helps Smiley
