Re: ASIAN APPLICATANTS share ur timeline here
hi, pls refer to my timeline:
visa type: VE176 (skilled sponsored)
Skill assessment: ages ago, don't remember
lodge application: 2nd Sep, 2007
(medical & police check front loaded)
Sponsor lodged her info: mid Sep (forgot the date, sorry)
Got the accknowledge letter, case officer, and asked for medical&AFP: 11th Oct
(I shouldn't have needed the AFP (AU federal police check), cos I only stayed in AU for 11 months... but since the case officer asked for, I just did it)
and after waiting a month but nothing from LCU, I asked my doctor, and realised HE SENT THE MEDICAL TO THE WRONG PLACE!! so I ask them to forward it: mid Dec, 2007
(and immediately got a auto email from CO that he's on holidays for two weeks.... so still waiting)
CO's back from holidays, and finalised my case, VISA GRANTED! 8th, Jan, 2008
So totally 4 months only, that's much much faster than I expected... if there was no the stupid mistake in the hospital and the CO wasn't taking his holiday, it should have been even faster
So cheers cheers cheers, good luck to all applicant
