Application Rejected.
Hi
All,
One of my friends Family Sponsored skilled Migration application has been rejected due to he not meeting Language Requirements.
His Borther now in Australia missed out to see the 4.5 band score (later taking up english classes in Oz.) requirement and he had a score of 4.
Is there any possibility of re-taking the IELTS and DIMA considering it
OR he needs to re-apply.
REgards,
Arun.

What's his brother's English language ability got to do with it?

If his application has been refused he needs to re-apply.
Why on earth did he apply without checking his English language
ability first?
By the way, the usual standard is 5.0 (minimum), and some skill
assessing bodies demand a higher standard. For Skilled Designated
Area Sponsored it is sometimes possible to qualify with a band score
of 4.5 but that involves paying an English language education charge.
Your friend should also be aware that for any kind of professional or
skilled job, the English language standard is much higher, IELTS 7.0
or even 8.0. If he's only able to speak English at IELTS 4/5 level,
his chances of getting a skilled job in Australia are zero and he'll
spend the rest of his career working as a cleaner or driving a taxi
(or something similar) in Australia.
