Default Application to be "finalised"

Hi guys,

Just sent an email query to my CO asking about the status of our app and when it might be granted(a 457).

He just said the application will be "finalised" on the 12th of Janaury, which is the date we specified in the form for the start of the visa.

I just wanted to know if "finalised" meant that they would grant it on that day or a decision will be taken on that day?

any help welcome

cheers

The date you said you needed the visa by is when they will make a decision by. Nobody can predict whether it will be granted, though.

Hi Dorothy

My mistake then, I I should have put the start day way earlier.

Anyways will they let me know the same day or is there another waiting period after that.

cheers
