Hi guys.. I have applied for 176 Relative, under CSL/MODL last Feb 18, 2009. Last March 11, it changed to Application being processed further... is this a normal change in status after a month? or is this a positive sign from DIAC?

It doesn't mean that CO allocated.

Please refer to the same thread in this forum and your get different comments.

My status is changed to "Application being processed further ", Can I know when this message comes ? Is it becuase they alloted CO for me? or its just for sake as application is now more than 1 year old.. 15 months to be precise.

Message update date is exactly one year after they received my medical docs. and recently i have send them few docs, so I am not able to find the exact reason for status change.

Following are my detalis

175 ,MODL , Last week of Jan , HR


Is it worth to wait for now? I have not seen any updates from them...

Hi vr4,

This status does not means a CO is assigned, but it is set when new information is added to your file. This status showed on my application one week after lodgement, as I e-mailed some documents that I could not attach myself.

If you are not on CSL I doubt it means you have a CO, but of course you can send a PLE to confirm that.

"Applicaiton being processed further" doesnot necessorily mean that you have been allocated CO. Look for other the other replies in the similar threads.

just got an email from PLE regarding asking about my status... here is it

"Thank you for your e-mail about your visa application under Australias
General Skilled Migration programme.

A processing further event will occur when an officer has accessed your
attached documents. "

so it means my application is assigned to an officer? but not CO?

I asked this thru the PLE.. and here's the reply..
