Question Re: AoS bond requested by Centerlink - subclass 139

hey people,
I have applied under subclass 138, and all the formalities (PCC, MEDICALS, BLOOD RELATION CHECK) are over. Last month a letter came to my sponsorers telling them to deposite AUD$3500 with centerlink for 2 years.

1. What does this implies?
2. How far I am in the process?
3. In how many days (working, ie..not including saturdays and sundays) from here on will it take for me to get a VISA?

Thanking you,
Peavy.

Hi Peavy,
I think it's fairly safe to say you are on your way... but as for how many days... only God has all the answers!!!

Just to let you all know

My assurer made contact with Centrelink in Victoria yesterday and she was given an appointment of 19.11.04.

Centrelink have informed my cousin that DIMIA are aware of the backlog and as long as they are informed of the appointment date, there should be no problems.

An officer Centrelink office at Wollongonghas called to my assuror and told him that they are going to input our data to their system. Assuror is living in Canbera.
