Default AOS bond question

Just wondering how request for bond is made. Is AOS contacted directly by Centrelink or CO or are we as applicants contacted to make the arrangements. My Aunty had to take all her documents about 2 weeks ago to Centrelink but we've heard nothing about the bond money since then.
Thanks
Jayne

Hi Jayne,

Centrelink will send your aunt a letter requesting the bond to be paid in. Once this is done she takes the receipt back to Centrelink who then advise DIAC that AOS is complete.

Ann
and they send a confirmation letter to your AOS, which they need to keep safe. x
