Hello to all Forum members especially those living in Aus on the Retirement Visa ( subclass 410 ) which is my Visa too.
Would be very pleased to hear from anybody currently applying for the Contributory Aged Person ( Residence ) Visa (Subclass 864 ).
I will be applying for this Visa sometime late March for the Wife and Self and am currently engrossed in Booklet 3 and downloading, to read, the various forms and guidance given.
Has anyone recently applied and received back from DIAC an acknowledgment giving any sort of time-line?
Equally, If I can be of any help to others when I start will be happy to share my experiences if required.
I searched the Site first for any information before posting.Unlike the "Offshore" the " Onshore" applicants may be few and a timeline may depend on each Individuals application dunno.
Cheers Oldgit.

From what we were told a couple of months ago the quotas for 864s are full until July 2010 and no more were being processed before then.
However, the sooner you get yours in the sooner you join the queue.
