We used www.visabureau.co.uk they have offices in the UK, but our agent was based in Adelaide. Never had any problems and they could be contacted really easily.

Hi Hayley,
You can find a list of Australian registered migration agents at -- http://www.themara.com.au/Online/ARS...asp?DeptID=140 -- go to the bottom of the page and "find an agent near you".
You should always make sure that the agent you use is registered with MARA.
Best of luck,

We are using Caroline Cronin at www.nextstepmigration.co.uk. She is excellent and based in London. We haven't got our visa yet but she was recommended to us by someone who is now in Oz.

We are using workpermit.com and have found them very helpful, with most
of the queries don via e-mail cannot fault them. TRA passed in just a
month and visa has gone off (1st June), we are not frontloading.

I would add that you should contact a few to compare them and see which one you feel most comfortable with.

Not based on personal experience, but Ian Harrop is MARA registered and has a good reputation. http://www.ianharrop.co.uk

I agree www.ianharrop.co.uk he is our agent (and based in oxfordshire) and is one of the longer time served agents and therefore we relied on his experience and knowledge to take us through..
were originally looking at the visa bureau but found them a lot more expensive to do the same job (ie an extra £1k they were charging us) and also found out they told us one or two things which would have invalidated our visa ie I was applying for the wrong skill assessment and that my job wasnt correct ie they were putting me through as office manager when in fact am a business professional nec which has a slightly different slant on what my job does.
Plus they dont have as many years under their belt as Ian Harrop.
However, they were the company that put us on the initial path to the visa by saying i needed to do a degree..etc so were initially very helpful.
As with all companies you are best ringing around - as we did - to get a feel on who you are happy with.. ie work experience, how long been mara registered, result rates, fees - there are tons of questions to ask.. but only go iwth someone you feel confident will be right for you.
