Anyone know any kind solicitors in Norwich?
I know the phrase "kind solicitor" is a bit of an oxymoron, but some people have reported that some are prepared to certify documents for nothing or next to nothing. Does anyone know of any such kind souls in the Norwich area? I'll be visiting home for Christmas/New Year and hope to get a load of docs certified then (providing they're open at that time of year, of course).

John,
As a solicitor myself I am very hurt by your slur on my profession
I'm sure all my clients will say I'm kind, generous even....
Unfortunately I will be in Plymouth over Christmas so can't
help....You'll find a lot of firms will close between Xmas and New
Year but when I've worked over that period I've had very little to do
(everywhere else seems to shut down) and very long lunches have been
the order of the day. Try making an appointment at 3pm and you may
catch a "kind" solicitor feeling mellow after a few sherries.

Sorry! It's just "kind solicitor" seems to rhyme quite well with "honest estate agent" (and now I've offended another large group of people...)
Thanks for the info about holidays. I could hardly have timed my trip home any worse in terms of getting stuff like this done. However, I am actually going to be in London on January 3rd (a normal weekday?) before flying back to Japan, so if I can't find somewhere in Norwich that's another possibility.
