Any oldies on Contributory Parent Visa advice on Medical Matters

Default Any oldies on Contributory Parent Visa advice on Medical Matters

We are in process of filling forms in for visa .Wondering how we would be fixed health wise ,i had 2 knee replacements 6 years ago no problems they have been great .Iam 62 now and may in time nead them replaced they usually last 10 years ,they cost £18.000 pounds in this country would that afect our visa.Also would a private Health cover me .

Private health insurance will make no difference to your application...you will be assessed on your potential cost to the healthcare system whether you have insurance or not.

I am not sure if it will affect your application but potential costs of around £20000 seems to be the critical point.

sorry to hijack thread but would anyone know if my Mum having had breast cancer 10 years ago would affect an application?

3 years remission is usually required but it is done on a case by case basis.
