I'm just about to start the immigration process and apply for TRA.
Does anyone have any advice/hints to ensure a successful TRA for forces trade? my job title is Communications and Information Systems Technician (CIS Tech), RAF Trade Group 3/4.
Not really sure how much info to give, any advice greatly appreciated!

Not sure if i can help a great deal - but husband was in Army. Welder by trade.

When he left Army he recieved his discharge certificate (Red Book)along with copies of his job description throughout his Service (not sure if RAF do a similar thing). Therefore all i did was copy the job description paperwork along with his Certificate of Service (Reference) and all his civilian and military trade certificates (including City and Guilds) during his time spent in the Forces.

All this alongside any employment you had since leaving should be okay.
