I am sure September can't come soon enough for you Ams. Best of Luck.

There is no doubt the ACS RPL forms are an absolute nightmare - we were just glad to see them posted!

Default AMS please help

Dear AMS,

I haven't seen you on the board for a while, I hope you're still reading it. You've
probably guessed what this is about: rpl. I've seen that you've offered to help other
hapless individuals preparing their rpl assessment by sending them some material. My
husband is now in the process of getting material together and would be ever so
grateful if you would mail us your material.

Thank you very much

Helle

I think Ams has failed his ACS assessment - see previous pages posts.

We are currently waiting for my husbands RPL ACS assessment to come back. The only advice I can give you that we were given was make you references as detailed as possible - detailing all projects involved in etc. They aren't looking for 'he was a great bloke' type reference.

I have read that the reference is the crucial part of the process.
Write the reference for the employer to sign - we did that, they changed a few words and added a bit but the bulk of the work was done for them.

Our agent is confident that it will be approved but we are nervously waiting!

email us [email protected] if you want any more info.

Good luck

Hi colin.helen...you are right...i've failed unfortunately. Not because my material was inadequate but because the required work exp. fell short by couple of months.

If you have read my mail carefully you would have noticed the whole letter ACS sent me. It actually says "Equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree with a minor in computing". If you feel you will positively get through, Helle Hansen would be most delighted.

I have sent my materials to couple of guys not out of any superiority issue but to help them out of the painful situation I was in while preparing them.

Anyways September is the time when I complete the required 4 yrs. and apply again (this is because ACS cut short 8 months of my Project Trainee exp. for which I did not have a letter of appointment).

Hope this helps.....would be glad to help out...Ams

Hi, as my husband and I are currently preparing his RPL application we too would be
grateful for any examples and materials some of you sent to ACS. We are facing the
most problems with the three mandatory CBOK categories as for example my husband
never did any project management tasks. So how can we give proof here? We have
employer references for the last five years. As some of you suggested we put together
detailed explainations of all the projects he worked for (including technical
informations) and let them sign by his employers. We hope this is sufficient. If any
of you would share his applications etc. please email them to [email protected] . We would
also be very grateful for any suggestions and tips on how to proof the three
mandatory categories.

As I have a degree in IT I sent my normal application to ACS on 4th Jan. but did not
receive any answer yet.

yours, Martina
