All booked
Well the flights are all booked. One way to Brisbane flying on 13th August. Its really real now!!
Booked flights with ebookers and flying Singapore airlines who will give us 40kg baggage allowance. We just have to give them our visa numbers when passports come back.
So much to sort out before we go. House to sell, cars to sell, business to sell......the list goes on.!!!! However once we get there it should be worth it.
Good luck to all those still waiting.

Hi good for you Janet. We get the house valued tomorrow and hopefully it will sell quick. Neil has his heart set on being in Brisbane by June but well we will just have to wait and see. Good luck and August will be here before you know it.

Brisbane, cool. We are gathering our paperwork together to apply for our visa, so we are a long way off. We are hoping to live about an hour west or south of Brisbane, any ideas of a nice safe area anyone? we have 2 kids, one 14 and the other 8

We are hoping to live in Kenmore/Pullenvale region which is on the west side of Brisbane and still only around 20-30 minutes into Brisbane CBD. At first we will go into rental and we are frantically looking for rental properties that are furnished which is proving rather difficult!!!
Anyway we will persevere and if the worse happens we stayed in a holiday let when we went out last year and can probably stay there again.
Thankyou to everyones good wishes. The real work starts now. Good luck to all those starting their journey or nearing the end. It will all be worth it.
