Advice Needed - Regarding Adding Secondery Applicant
Hello
Can anyone advice whether a primary Applicant can add his/her parents as secondary applicant in the middle of an application process. he has already applied Onshore and as he is only child of his parents he is thinking of adding them to his existing application. Is it possible? Any advice?

Where are the parents located?
Are they dependent on their son? It's generally a very, very difficult thing to do (bringing parents over as dependants). Given that the parents are married and living, I presume, in another country than their son I would wager a guess that they are not dependant on him.
At a guess I would say it's virtually impossible, although with more detailed info you might get a better answer.

As Comet has said, it is very difficult to bring parents over as dependents. If the parents are living in a developed counry I would say it is almost certainly not going to be possible.
I am also wondering if trying to bring both parents would be an added difficulty. I may be mistaken, but if there are two parents I think dependency is more difficult to prove.
The other issue your friend has is that he did not include the parents from the start, which would perhaps lead DIAC to question if they really are dependent too. After all, I am sure he would not have ommitted to incldue a dependent child.
