advice from JAJ or someone, please
We emigrated on PR visa a month ago, daughter (20) decided to come out for a holiday with us and got WHV. dilemma is now she loves it so much she wants to stay!!!!
She has been offered a job as a sterile services technician and the hospital have offered to sponsor her, but are not sure for which visa, have you any ideas she is 20, no ties, has in house training as technician jacqui |

So wherever you are, I'd suggest you first visit the IARC website at http://www.iarc.asn.au/publications/index.html and download their fact sheet 11, then try to find an agent who can explain to you how the normal period of being "settled" can be shortened - you might like, in fact, to start by calling IARC to find out what sort of free public services are available near you. again thanks for the help jacqui Unless you're in a regional area it might be hard to get her sponsored on a 457, but relatively easy for her to apply for a student visa, which if carefully planned could lead to you sponsoring her for PR in two years' time. There are a lot of technical courses available through TAFE and they're costly but not exhorbitant. Talk to TAFE about that first, to see what she'd like to do and the costs involved, and then talk to an agent.
