ACS skills assessment (RTL or class A,B)
hi,
I've a dilemma. I've two different studies finished (electronics 4.5 years and informatics 2 years). The first one I finished in 2001 whereas the second one this year. I've been working in IT for 9 years already and would like to apply for visa as a skilled independent. The question is under which category should I try to have my skills assessed successfully. I'm not sure about minimum work experience. How do they calculate it? From the moment of finishing studies (hence I'll have one month experience; I I'll get my PG diploma next month) or the whole work experience (9 years).
My last question concerns documents posted to ACS. I've attended some trainings (SAP programming, MS SQL programming ..) some time before. Should I include these documents in my application form?

Dont know the exact answer to your query.
But regarding experience. I was studying from 1995 till 1998. I worked part time from 1996 to 1998 and then from 1999 till 2001 in the same company on differen full time positions. When I submited my application for ACS I thought they wouldnt consider my part time experience or atleast they would cut down it by 50% as it was a part time experience. But to my surprise it was mentioned as 4 years 10 months experience (for that company only, the other companies were stated seperately of course) in my ACS letter which was the exact time I worked there.
So according to my experience they are quite flexible as long as the evidences are reall documented and genuine.
