Default ACS skills assessment for 175

Hi everyone! I just joined having lurked for a few days.

I'm looking to head out to Oz on a 175 and my in-demand skill is IT-related, which means I have to get a skills assessment from the Australian Computer Society.

If anyone has already done this I would appreciate some advice - in particular how to complete their online form and also provide "certified" documents. The instructions are a little tough to digest and I can't see what to do with the certified docs. Where did people get them certified in the UK?

Cheers!

To obtain a certified copy of a document you take the original and a photocopy to a person who is eligible to certify documents in your country (in UK this is a solicitor, notary public, doctor, etc.) and they write or stamp on the photocopy that they certify that it is a true copy of an original. They put their signature and contact details and that's it.

The ACS website is actually pretty good for information. However if you're having trouble do a search of this forum for ACS and you will find literally hundreds of threads related to their skills assessment procedures.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have done a bit of searching before asking!
