ACS/IELTS and process for 175
Dear MOD,
I am about to start my immigration process and needed help.
applying in GSM 175, currently have ielts L;7.0 R;7.0 W;6.0 S;6.0 overall 6.5
According to new policy ielts 7.0 in all four modules is required so i am going to attempt ielts again.
i am applying under system analyst category.
my question is;
can i apply for ACS before i achieve the required ielts bands.?
Do the ACS verify jobs.? (as i don't want to let my employer know about this)
and what can i do about DIAC job verification.? ( reason i wrote above )
could you be kind enough that you email me the step by step procedure for immigration to AU. as i don't want to hire any consultant, they all are almost fraud in here (Pakistan)
Thank you in advance.

Re: (175/6 Visa) 18 March 2011 letters
Hi Sameer
My advise for what its worth would be to do your ielts again, gain the required points, because without it you cannot do anything, I would then approach an agent to help you through the process, or at least speak with one, when we were going through the process we had a lot of help from George Lombard, it would def be worth speaking with someone.
However you can down load all the forms from the diac site and see if you can complete them yourself.........We did it and we also did it for my daughter.....both successful....... As for your employer finding out, you can send in a letter stating that you do not want them to be contacted and explain your reasons for this.... I would get everything you need together before applying...you would be best served to take an agent on it does not have to be from where you are, as long as you have a fax and a computer you will be fine....I hear Go Matilda is good....

I have moved these posts to their own thread as they have absolutely nothing to do with the thread in which they were originally.

Also on a side note, the System Analysts usually require to be a very experienced person as per ACS, so make sure that your experience letter cover your job descriptions accordingly and you are able to meet the duration as discussed in career path section.
Best of luck.
