It could be, theoretically, depending on the content of the course. I.e. in my case I did a course on "Engineering graphics", where we had some theory obviously, but all designs had to be done in one or the other CAD systems, so the course as a whole was IT-relevant.

BUT -

In your other thread you already said that ACS rejected your education as not relevant to IT, so if you decide to appeal their decision on the merits of some course relevance, you may be wasting your time. I can only repeat was was said before, from what you describe you need to do an RPL essay. If you can not decide what would be the best course of action, hire an agent with experience in ACS cases, pay them for a consult and then do an RPL essay. Good luck anyway.

Engineering Mathematics doesn't seem to fall under IT.

I also see logic in mentioning Mathematics as ICT skill becuase in Mathematics we learned algoritham.This is one of the key skills used in Computer science.

infojami will become famous soon enough

All computer programms are base on algoritham (Mathematics). But ACS may not consider it as IT skill.

ACS mostly understand "Applied Computing" and "IT Industry Experience", such as programming with C++, JAVA, SQL, .Net etc; Database such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL etc; Network administration such as Cisco, Juniper etc; Systems administration such as Linix, UNIX, Solaris etc.

@infojami

I understand your viewpoint that ACS understands IT skills only. But when we talk about ICT skills in degree curriculam anything which contributes to honing ICT Skills can also be considered as an ICT skills.
For example: Algorithm learned in Mathematics can be used while writing Computer programs.

Algorithms/programming is a small part of computer science, there are many other parts, like grath thory, electrical engineering,physics, database engineering, software engineering analysis and design. concurrentcy. and much more

Also modern day computing programs have an aspect of business

Web link to every state is available is sticky post, download occupation in demand of every state and you will find where "Software Designer" lies.

I think ACT requires 2 months back history of transactions, and i think it is also mentioned on their site. have a look.

mathematics is the key skill used in every sort of engineering (electrical, mechanical, aerospace etc)
so this isn't much of an argument
