ACS - Documents Awaited Blackhole

ACS - Documents Awaited Blackhole
Dear All,
I need some advice from experts on this group.
My assessment status on the ACS website changed to "Documents Awaited"
on the 15th of July. I called up my agent on the 19th to find out if
they had received an intimation. They said NO and told me that at
times the website status changes but they get the communication from
ACS a little later. Nows its been almost a working week.
Is it true ?
Does anyone have any clues on how the process works ? I am located in
India. Also, how long does ACS give to revert to them ,because i am out
of town for 3 weeks.

Me no expert but the status on the web site is not very
accurate......depends on the Assessment officer really. First up, stop
worrying. The request will make it through( you'd know this if you had
searched the forum as there was already a case like this sometime ago).
Second up, you see what is it that you haven't sent and start
collecting those documents. Did you ask to be contacted by email in the
application?

Also, our status stayed in 'Awaiting Documents' right up to a week before approval... So don't worry about checking the web site for updated status checks!
