Hello all,

My assessment status changed today from "to be allocated" into "written off". This does not sound very good to me. Has anyone an ideea about what this means? Should I write an email to ACS to ask them if there is something wrong with my application? Please advice,

Sorry can't help, but I think you're right, it doesn't sound good! Never heard of that status before, hopefully someone else has?

Hi,
I also have yet to hear this msg! strange! but as the first thing don't panic they are not gonna reflect the result on their website anyway, try google it or use the search here to get something, however ACS officers are not so helpful to learn the result yet you may test that. Although you would be given the result next days.

Problem solved. After I asked them what it means I received an explanatory email:

Our database has incorrectly logged you under the wrong status.
This has now been changed.
I apologise for any inconvenience. Please note the assessment time is 10 weeks from the date we receive the file.
