Default ACS assessment - 4 years required?

Hello,
To get a positive assessment by ACS, do all applicants need to have at least 4 years of experience?

If I don't have at least 4 years of experience, will my application be rejected by ACS?

YES , 4 seems to be a bare minimum in terms of work exp.
If you have a higher education which earns you more points than what is required for PIM A /B then maybe you get the full assessment if you are falling a few months short of 4 years of work exp.

But you cannot predict this right away - So its better if you gain 4 yrs of work exp. and then submit your assessment form because the FAQ section in ACS website clearly states "We need employer references to a min. of 4, 6 or 8"

Hope this helps

I had a Masters degree and i was short of 1.5 months in the overall requirement of 4 years but even before they completed my assessment which took close to 10 weeks i sent them new reference(s) from my last employer - This maybe the reason that it worked out but no idea

So i would suggest that you wait until you gather 4 yrs

Cheers

For your case, 4 years is a prerequisite. You fall short of 4 years, even by 2 months, ACS will reject.

hi
I have a question:

I have 3 years full time experience and 1.5 years part time experience.
ACS says that part time experience is evaluated on pro-rato basis.

Can anybody tell what is the meaning of pro-rata and do my experience fullfill their requirement

thanks
