Question 489 Application

Please can any one advise; I got NT nomination and applied for 489 visa on 13th Nov. No sign of CO yet. I currently reside in UK but had a business of my own in my home country. I gave up my business before relocating to UK in 2010. I am worried as my previous work phone number has been re-asinged to a new user. Though I have uploaded company/personal bank statements, personal/company tax docs, reference letters from clients, registration docs etc; just wondering what may happen if CO tries to verify my job and a strange person who barely knows me amswers. Expats should help.

I've moved your post to it's own thread as your questions are in no way related to the other one.

For 489 visa, CO allocation is listed as 'within 10 weeks of lodgement' so no need to worry yet - http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...tion-times.htm

If there are any questions over your references, the CO will ask for additional info before making a decision most likely.
