461 visa to 820 is it possible?
hello,
I'm currently on a 461 visa but separated from my NZ partner.
I've renewed my 461 about 3 years ago but I've been in a relationship with an Australian for about 18 months. living together 5 months.
can someone please tell me if it's possible to enter into a 820 visa then onto 821?
or what my options are. immigration know I've separated at the time of my last renewal.

As you have found, if there is a relationship breakdown, you can continue to hold the 461 visa, but from what I have read with the provision that you do not enter into de-facto relationship with another person.

I'm going to suggest that you get some advice from a MARA agent
As you have found, if there is a relationship breakdown, you can continue to hold the 461 visa, but from what I have read with the provision that you do not enter into de-facto relationship with another person.

OP - also, you go from the 820 to PR on the 801 (not 821)
