457 vias

Hi , does anybody know how long it takes to get a 457 business long stay visa.My medicals were sent away on the 13th of june.Any help would be appreciated.

Timescales for 457 visas can vary greatly.

Contrary to what some people think, it's not always a quicker option than going for employer nominated permanent residence from the start.

Our were done last October and took about 4 weeks from application. However a friend applied last June and his took almost 7 weeks.
