Can someone please tell me if a child who resides with ex partner, would need to complete a medical if other parent is going to Aus on a 457 visa? I'm aware that it is a requirement for PR visa, but is it the same for 457?

well as far as i know school going children need full medical exams and adults only need x-rays....thats what we guys had to do...

i am not sure of the child who is not migrating...better check with DIAC or ur sponsor's agent...

... actually that thread is not all that clear either. No requirement for medicals for non-457 applicants. Each subsequently applying 457 family member would need a medical at that time.

Agreed it wasn't very clear
So just to make it crystal clear if children living with uk resident parent would not be required to have a medical if they were not going with parent on 457.

They would require a medical if the child decided to follow on
