Default 457 Alternative for PR

Hi all,
i am trying to figure out the alternative of the 457 that grants you permanent residency.
i am also trying to figure out the process that is needed to get the PR.

ok. let me try to rephrase it.
There are 2 types of visa that can be sponsored by an employer.
First type is the 457 that grants you a Temporary Resident status.
the secound grants you a Permanent Resident status but i dont know the type.
i am interested in the PR visa but need to find out some more information regarding it.
first i need to figure out if the process of obtaining the visa is similar to the 457 process from the employer point of view.
secound i want to know the differances for the applicant from the 457.
i am a non UK citizen.

There are 2 types of visa that can be sponsored by an employer.
First type is the 457 that grants you a Temporary Resident status.
the secound grants you a Permanent Resident status but i dont know the type.
i am interested in the PR visa but need to find out some more information regarding it.

as Jeremy says, do more research because there is more than one PR visa.
he suggested looking at the DIAC website.
so do I.

Thanks, i have.
i have found only 1 related visa named Employer Nomination Scheme (Subclass 121/856).
is that the equivalent visa to the 457 but only PR?

Sorry for the mayhem.
I have got the visa i need to ask from my employer
its the 121 offshore.
i got the whole thing and i will start my RPL process against the ACS ASAP.

121 is offshore, 856 is onshore.

There is also RSMS. And you might be interested in the points tested and state nominated options.
