Default Is the 309 bridging?

Hi everyone again,

Been here a while (6 months) but just need a quick tip if you will.

Everytime I'm trying to apply for anything financial, car, phone etc., I keep getting told that since my 309 visa is still temporary I will get declined finance as it is a bridging visa and everything thus far has had to be in the wife's name.

Has anyone else on this visa had this problem or know if it is classed as a bridging visa?

Regards
Olly

Its a Temporary Spouse visa that leads to PR as long as the relationship continues. Definitely not a bridging visa.

I also (as the temp spouse) had no problems with any financial matters. I'm not sure why, but some people have no problems, some people seem to have nothing but problems.

I'm afraid to say that I have no idea why.

Probably because they advertise the fact it's not a permanent visa.
