189 electrician visa help
Hello, I have tried to do some research on this but cannot find anything, please point me in the direction of some information!
I am an electrician in the UK, been in Aus for about 3 years, working as an electrician for just over a year in Sydney. I have done my Electrotechnology Cert III and am qualified and have my license here in Aus. I'm currently on a 457 visa. I want to go for the 189 visa but I'm confused, do I need to do a trades recognition (such as VETASSES) or does my Aussie qualification and license cover that?
From what I understand, I just need to complete the Migration Points Advice Application Form from the TRA, right?
Thank you
