The checklist asks to send 2 x passport type photos of all applicants. How do we identify the person in the picture when sending via online application? Do I paste pictures on paper, write name and date of birth then scan in and save as PDF?

This is from memory .... but I'm sure that when we attached each document to the file eg birth certificate, photo, we had to attach it to the relevant applicant. We didn't label the photos ourselves.

It'll become easier to see what i mean when you start up loading your documents, they've made it so you have to 'label' everything using their menus - it's quite straightforward.

Start the application as soon as possible so that you get your application date - wish we had done that rather than waiting until everything was 'perfectly' ready. You can go back and add documents 'as and when'. and believe me, you'll have plenty of time over the coming months to add your documents!!!!

That's very helpful, Ebyron. Thanks! I'm ready to apply as soon as ACS letter is received. That should be next week. I believe I have all the documents too.

I see from your signature that you have completed all the steps of the Visa. Do you have a CO? When do you hope to receive your Visa?

Good idea, do all the online bit as soon as you receive ACS.

Will don't have a case officer yet .... some applicants from the beginning of Nov started to get theirs last week, so we remain hopeful ... just about!!

We are desperate to go in July, so we can get settled before my daughter will have to start school at the end of January. Plus it'll be really weird for her to see all her other friends here go to 'big school' whilst she stays in nursery!!
