Hi, I can't help with the timeline issue but did you claim 15 or 25 points for English?

If you got a 6.5 in speaking you cannot claim 25 points. Do you have 120 points?

hi vr4indian

1. u r not eligible for ACS if u dont have min 4 yrs exp.

2. I hv never heard of India being as high risk country.

3. What I understand is that med doc are to be given when co asks for it, but it appears u hv given med with skill assessment, how come ?

4. Applications for ACS are send to sydney and not ASPC.

I think there is a little confusion. You have noted that you applied for your PR through the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre, which is ASPC not ACS (Australian Computer Society/Assessing Authority - unrelated).

If you obtained 6.5 in any of the IELTS modules that you would not be eligible for the 25 points from the general skilled migration points system.

I trust that you have calculated your points and submitted a valid visa application, otherwise your application will be refused.

Processing time for SC175 is 9-12 months approx.

Oh my mistake

My file is processing at Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre, not at ACS my mistake.

I am not sure about 120 points but my agent say you have..i think i have 15 points for IELTS and reaming points from my distant learning..

Like I have almost 3 year of accounting expr and i completed 2 subject from open university.

Please help me to clear my doubt.

Thanks

Given that you have engaged an agent’s services, you ought to speak with him or her about the matter, as they will (or should) have sufficient information to advise you on what your points are.

Based on the information you have provided I am unable to advise you on what points you’re eligible for and I don’t think this forum is a place to discuss all your personal details to ascertain whether you qualify for a permanent visa.

It’s a little concerning that you have entrusted an agent to handle your PR but are not certain whether you have met the basic requirements for the sc 175. After all, it is your future.

I trust you have used a Registered Migration Consultant.

Hi, have a look at the Visa Wizard on www.immi.gov.au

I am concerned that you are claiming points for your distance learning? How?

Good luck.

As long as your ACS (Australian Computer Society or whatever) assessment shows that you have a positive assessment for a 60 point occupation and that occupation is in the MODL and you meet the work experience criteria you should be fine.

Good luck.
