Default $100000 dollar bond

Hi

My brother will be applying under skilled overseas student visa
category for immigration to AUS. He intends to deposit $100000 bond
for 5 point to reach 115 points.

He doesnot have the money but I can send $100000 when required. Will
this be acceptable? Can I send money directly from my account in US to
New South Wales Treasury Corporation or other places as per government
rules.

After one year, can I get the money back from Austrlia to US where I
live. I hope there is no legal problem for money transfer back to US.

Please help.

i cant see a problem with it, as long as they get the money i'm sure it does not matter where it comes from.

Hi AP,

It needs to be lodged by your brother, but he doesn't need to show where it
came from. So you'll need to send it to him first, I believe.

cheers
