Default Working Holiday Visa Question

Hiya All,
Wonder if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction? We dont really want to pay £1 per minute to get in touch with NZIS!
My son has applied online for a Working Holiday Visa on 10th March and at the moment it says his status "Pending"
On NZIS it says he should submit a Police Certificate and Medical Certificates with the application. Obviously he couldnt do this as he applied online! (He wants to stay 23 months) When should he get them done? Does he have to wait until a decision is made or should he be getting these done now?
Any help is really appreciated. Thanks XX

Medical Certs.

NZIS will advise him, via the on-line system, as to when to send in the meds.

As the stay will be for under 24 months , he doesn't have to submit a police certificate as far as I can see . NZIS will check him out from their end.

Providing evidence of good character

If you are coming to New Zealand for 24 months or longer you'll have to provide police certificates as evidence of your good character. We need to see certificate
Hope that helps
