UK DEGREES ASSESSED BY NZQA
Do i need to get my UK degrees assessed by the NZQA or have they already been doen. I have a Ba (Hons) Degree and A PGCE in secondary education teaching. I have heard different views on if i need an international qualification report from the NZQA

If you are not the principal applicant, you don't plan to teach and your uni is on the exempt list with your degree and the dates fit, then as far as I'm aware it will be accepted for residency/visas.
However if you are the principal applicant and you plan to teach then they have to be assessed for registration and the registration will be required for visas.
Hope that is right anyway

All I know is that they'll whip away your Honours. I mean how could we possibly obtain an Honours degree over three years. Apparently one is invited to do another year to gain Honours here.
Your degree will likely be classed as being at Level 7. There's lots been written about teaching in NZ on here & that teaching is no longer on the Skills shortage list. So I would suggest that you have a good ole neb around the forum, if you haven't already done so.
