Default Time frame for ITA after being selected on EOI

Hi,

I have been selected from the pool last week and wanted to know what is the timeframe to receive an ITA after been selected?

Cheers,
Claire

Congrats.

Each application has it's own time frame so no way to know unfortunately.

If you have a job offer then priority should mean they will assess your EOI within a couple of weeks then issue the ITA or not.

Without a job offer the assessment takes a month, subsequent issue of the ITA may take much longer depending on their time available given they prioritise those with job offers.

So do you have a job offer?

It is overall points that counts, the profession is only part of the score.

You may need to pay more attention to IELTS in order to get much further.

Just thought I'd add a comment. We had our EOI submitted on 18th May, was drawn from pool on 19th, then yesterday (28th May) found our status had been changed to Decision Sucessful (ITA being sent out), neither of us have job offers and they did ask to see transcripts of Luke's IT degree but not mine earlier in the week. So I guess ours was really quick as had heard it was 3 - 4 weeks to this stage.

So we're really really really excited plus we just sold our house! Things are starting to look up.

Hi Luke/Jayne,

Can I ask which branch was your EOI application allocated to?

Cheers,
Claire

Hi Claire,

Yes, well our immigration agent got it Friday and has sent the relevant pages down to us to complete, just about to apply for Police checks and medicals.

I see you were / are in Salisbury I work just outside Salisbury!

Has your pack arrived yet?

Jayne

Hi Jayne,

No, still waiting to recieve the ITA pack. It should be here anytime soon.

Yeah, I'm from Salisbury and now I'm in Auckland happily living and working. Whereabouts are you? PM me if you rather :-)

Where in NZ are you hoping to settle?

Cheers,
Claire
