Default Residence terminology

We are just about to start filling in our Residence from Work application forms having been here for almost 2 years on the WTR visa and I'm slightly confused by the terminology around the partnership sections

Does anyone know if a WTR visa is classed as a residency visa?? One of the questions on the form is 'Does your partner hold a New Zealand residence class visa?' Obviously this is on the Residence from work form so I would assume in this case a WTR visa is classed as a residence visa otherwise how could anyone apply for a partnership visa

Hi Faye. sorry I don't know how to answer your question above, hope you got things figured out. I was wondering how you are getting on with your applications, have you submitted it yet? We are going through the same (or at least similar), currently on WTR's and applying for Residency From Work. Had our medicals on Thursday, last piece of supporting evidence is due next week, then hopefully should be able to submit app soon after. Good luck with everything

Hi Keeny,
Yes we got it all figured out in the end! We haven't submitted ours yet. We have our medicals this week, have sent off for our UK police certs and I'm having to get a new birth certificate sent over as my current one is only the short version.
We are hoping to submit our applications the second week of August - exactly 2 years after my OH started working
