PR still not sorted-medicals with MAs 7wks now.... but we are flying next week!!!

PR still not sorted-medicals with MAs 7wks now.... but we are flying next week!!!
No thanks to our CO in Auckland but many thanks to NZIS London !!!!
Stewart took 1 year work permit application form in to NZ House on Monday complete with form from employer..... and we got a phonecall yesterday saying visa was ready and did we want to collect it or have it sent out special delivery ?!?!?
So still no PR as no word from MAs after 7 weeks.... one hell of a backlog !?!
But the main thing now is that we are flying out next week
and emailing over a copy of our visa to enable our container to land duty-free !
Many thanks for the words of advice/comfort on here and especially to Berni whom we've met with a couple of times and hope to stay in contact with over there xxx

You shouldnt do things like that to us - we just cant take the stress x

Where are we off to.....mmmm good question!!..could be BoP, could be BoI....could be Wellington .... we havn't decided for certain yet!!
Initially tho, prob flying into Welly, meeting up with some friends, buy a car then head off to SI for a holiday
then meet up with more friends back on NI and head off into the sunset to find a place & jobs to settle in to!!Currently live in Somerset, not city lovers ...def country 'bumpkins'!! so we def wont end up in Auckland or Wellington ....maybe suburbs tho!
